Fugro-LCT Software© > Magnetic Depth Analysis

Magnetic Depth Estimation with MAGPROBE©

MAGPROBE© is a powerful interactive tool for determining the position and orientation of magnetic sources using the application and comparison of multiple depth estimation methods. With the aid of graphic displays, the interplay among the various depth estimation methods can be rapidly observed and interpreted. MAGPROBE incorporates multiple algorithms, including Werner, Euler, Naudy, SPI, Phillips, and spectral methods as well as empirical methods such as the straight-slope and half-slope methods.

Features include:

  • Display of raw and filtered magnetic field data, derivatives, and gradients.
  • Fast computation of Euler, Werner, Naudy, SPI, Phillips, straight slope, half-slope, and spectral depth estimations
  • Selection of magnetic body style and input field type for calculation
  • User-defined parameters for selective display of the desired solutions and profile data
  • Batch mode processing of lines
  • Integration with other Fugro-LCT modules for more complete interpretations

Magnetic Depth Estimation with 3DEULER©

Interactive three-dimensional grid based depth to magnetic source program.

3DEULER© is an interactive, three-dimensional gravity and magnetic field program for the deconvolution of gridded magnetic data for the automatic depth to magnetic source.

The resulting information is output as a 3DEULER map.

3DEULER provides a quick and easy way to obtain general estimates of the distribution of magnetic sources in a specified area. It is especially useful when working with large data sets. After generating 3DUELER solutions, you can import them into a 3-D software application, such as LCTSEIS-3D© to further qualify depth estimates.
